Yesterday was the first day of screening for the American Idol Season 8 on Pheonix, Arizona. Well all I can say about it was very surprising.. LOL.. Who would have think that an aspirant would come into an audition wearning a 2 piece bikini.. And the expression on the face of Simon was priceless. Infairness to the girl she has some talent, but would she last until the final screening?
Different kinds of aspirants came and showed their talents. Cowboys, cowgirls, rough neck, "almost" blind pianist and even a Nerd. Everyone showed their stuff but not all of them got in. I got a good laugh at some of the acts. But most of the talents that they showed my reaction was just WOW!
Today AI8 will be on Kansas City, the city of last years AI winner David Cook. I'd still be watching the show hoping there would be a artist that has the styles of David Cook or Chris Daugherty.
But overall as far as what the show has to offer yet. I'm voting for the blind pianist. He really sounds like Andrea Bocelli specially on the low notes. Can't wait to see him on the following screenings.
